I remember when I was in the 6th grade(Aaron was 9th or 10th) I was walking through the hall and Aaron was walking through dancing with a baby rattle in his hand. I gave him a weird look thinking that guy is crazy. There was an age gap between us so I didn't know him at all at the time. Still that did not make him hesitate to be himself. He shouted "What are you looking at me?" Then he threw the rattle on the ground and ran over to me, grabbed both my hands, then started making me dance all around the hall while he screamed, I mean sang, Jimmy Cliff's "I can see clearly now" He sang the whole song while dancing with me, when he was finished, he bowed to me, got his rattle, and walked away. It wasn't until he was much further down the hall that he bursted out in laughter, but by the time he had disappeared I could hear him singing once more
I remember when Aaron was working at Starbucks, I don't think he had been working there long and I walked in with my friend Kristen and I look at who is making our Coffee and it's Aaron! I was like omg aaron what are you doing here? he starting laughing and told us he worked here (obviously) then he asked why I was wearing scrubs and we told him we were in the CNA program, lol after some more conversation he said he made my coffee extra special and hope'd I enjoyed it and then gave me a wink lol it was hilarious :) thanks aaron, no one ever did make my coffee as good as you did :)
I remember when we were 17 we had just gotten back from a camping trip and he noticed his cell phone had been turned off. we were still in our jammies. had not showered. Smelt pretty bad as well... He grabs my hand and drags me to the mall with him.. He was paying his phone bill when he had heard his ring tone come over the mall intercom. He grabs my hand and starts dancing with me in the middle of the mall while singing that song. I hated that song. Now every time I hear it, I smile. I still hate the song. but the memory is what I love.
